Two Months Narcotics Investigation Results
in Arrest of Three Major Drug Dealers

Chauncy Gipson

Michael Edwards

Landrick Wilson

The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Narcotics Division recently concluded a two month long undercover narcotics investigation resulting in the arrests of three “Major Dealers.” The Narcotics Division feels the three arrested persons are the Crack Cocaine suppliers to the street level dealers. The Investigation primarily targeted the city of Terrell and the city of Forney.

Arrested in the Undercover operation were; Chauncy Rochelle Gipson 37 of Forney, Landrick Ramon Wilson 34 of Terrell, and Michael Wayne Edwards 34 of Dallas. All are currently still being held in Kaufman County Jail on charges of Manufacture and Delivery of Controlled Substance with penalties ranging from 5 to 99 years and a $10,000 fine.

Kaufman County Sheriff’s Narcotics Division was assisted in the arrests of Chauncy Gipson and Landrick Wilson, by the Terrell Narcotics unit and the US Marshall’s Service FAST (Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team).

Kaufman County Sheriff David Byrnes stated, “The Dealers that were arrested are responsible for putting a large amount of the crack cocaine on the street in Northern Kaufman County.”

The Sheriff’s Office is considering pursuing charges of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity which would also be a Felony in the First degree. The Narcotics Division stated, “Large amounts of crack cocaine were purchased during this investigation and there will be more arrests to come.”
