Forney Texas,- On August 31, 2011 a Terrell couple hired what they thought was a reputable roofing contractor to reroof their house and replace the fence after recent damage. The couple in good faith paid the contractor $18, 518.51, and waited patiently for the work to be done. After weeks of no roofing work and several attempts to contact the company with unanswered phone messages, the homeowners filed a complaint with investigators at the Kaufman County Sheriffs Office. They also turned to their insurance company for help in finding out more information about the check they provided the roofer. After a through investigation by Kaufman County Sheriffs investigators, a warrant was issued on November 29, 2011 for Danny Bryan Quinton Jr., 36, of Forney.
Investigators tried several times to contact Quinton, and on January 11, 2012 investigators from the Kaufman County Sheriffs Office Warrant Division located Quinton driving on Devonshire and placed him in custody without incident. Quinton was transported to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center where he was released on a $10,000.00 bond.
