Crandall Texas, - A joint undercover operation led by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office and the Kaufman Police Department led to the arrest of one man on drug charges. Arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group One Over 4 Grams, but under 200 Grams in a drug free zone, was Marshall Douglas Boyd, 31, of Dallas. Boyd was also wanted on four outstanding warrants from Balch Spring Police Department.
A search of the Boyd’s vehicle yielded what was believed to be as estimated 5 Grams of methamphetamines, valued at $450.00, a set of digital scales, commonly used to weigh narcotics for sale, as well as narcotics packaging material. Boyd was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center where bond is set at $101,130.80.
