Terrell Texas, - On March 1, 2012 at approximately 8:24 pm. Kaufman County Sheriff investigators from the narcotics unit, along with officers from Kaufman County’s multi-jurisdictional SWAT team and Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol executed a search warrant at a residence on Tiffany Circle in Terrell. One suspect was taken into custody and investigators found over 4 Grams of crack cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, packaging material used to distribute drugs and a pair of scales.
Arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group One Over 4 Grams/ Under 200 Grams and Possession of Marijuana under 2 Ounces, was Julian Ray McLemore,38, of Terrell. McLemore also was wanted on two outstanding warrants from Kaufman County, as well as two outstanding warrants from Dallas Police Department.
McLemore was transported to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center without incident, were bond is set at $54,428.50.
