Kemp Texas, - On September 12, 2012 at approximately 7:15 pm. Kaufman County deputies arrested a second suspect thought to be responsible for the recent rash of burglaries, as well as the rash of burglaries of several motor vehicles throughout the City of Kemp. Some of the burglaries go back to May 2012 where the Sac A Burger and the Snow Cone Stand were burglarized and June 2012, where several residents had property stolen out of their vehicles.
Arrested and charged with two counts of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, was Christopher Patterson, 19, of Kemp. Patterson was arrested without incident and taken to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center, where bond is set at $20,000.00.
This is an ongoing investigation with more arrests expected.
