Forney Texas, - During a routine traffic stop two men were arrested on drug charges. On June 8, 2012, at approximately 5:34 pm. a Kaufman County deputy stopped a tan Buick for speeding.
As the deputy was questioning the driver Randall Clark, 35, of Kilgore, consent to search the vehicle was given. During the search of the vehicle, the deputy found pills believed to be hyrocodone in an unmarked pill bottle. A search of the passenger of the car was made, and a glass pipe used to smoke illegal drugs, ad a clear baggie containing what was believed to be marijuana was found.
Arrested and charged with Possession of a controlled substance in Penalty group 1 >4G <200 G, was Randall Clark, 35, of Kilgore Texas. The charges against Clark are a second degree felony. Also arrested was Kenneth E Pickron, 51, of Longview Texas, a passenger in the car. He was charged with Possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 3 less than 28 Grams, Prohibited substance in a correctional facility/ alcohol/drugs/phone, tobacco and Possession of drug paraphernalia. Both suspects were transported to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center without incident, where bond is set at $30,000.00 for Clark and $50,500.00 for Pickron.
